HAWKEYE MEN: Crush The Gophers

The Hawkeyes are living right on the edge of the NCAA tournament bubble. But that bubble has yet to burst.

A win Sunday against Minnesota and Iowa is one step closer to a possible invite to the dance.

It was a packed house at Carver to see the Gophers jump out to an early 21-5 lead.

Hawks eventually wake up with help from Aaron White.  He loves to dunk. 15 for White and the lead down to 4.

Hawks close the half on a 29-8 run, leading by 5 at the break.

In the 2nd they pour it on with good play from Gezell and Woodbury, the Sioux City connection.

The rout is on. Gezell adds 11 giving the Hawks big win, crushing Minnesota 72-51.
