WIFE MURDER: Husband’s Trial Begins

The trial for a southeast Iowa man accused of killing his pregnant wife will begin this week.

Seth Techel is charged with 1st degree murder and non-consensual termination of a human pregnancy. Techel is accused of shooting his wife, Lisa at their home near agency last May.

Lisa Techel was a reserve deputy with the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

Techel’s trial is set to begin Tuesday in Wapello County.
