A mother of triplets fought the odds to have children, but is now facing another difficult battle.
“I was told from a young age I probably wouldn’t be able to have kids, that it would be difficult. And they were right,” says Holly Brady.
Holly was pregnant with triplets, but her complicated pregnancy only allowed her to have two of them, Lexus and Wade.
Holly and her husband Mark not only suffered the death of their child Addison, but also couldn’t cover medical and living expenses. The parents are disabled and the children both have special needs and require medical care.
On Sunday, friends held a benefit at the Maingate Bar and Grill to help the family cover the bills. The event raised about $1,000.
