The Windsor Heights speed cameras are only a few months old, and the city already has plans to make changes.

At their regularly scheduled Monday meeting the city council will discuss changing the contract with the camera company.

The city began using two units in December, one in a car and another attached to a speed trailer.

The proposed contract change would give the city ownership of the car, which is currently owned by the camera company Gatso USA.

If the contract is changed the car would become an authorized emergency vehicle.
