The Warren County Citizens for Good Jobs will release more details on a proposed casino Wednesday.

The group, which is comprised of local leaders and citizens, will reveal the location for the project, the operator, and how many jobs the casino would create.

The announcement will be led by Norwalk mayor Doug Pierce.

The last time Warren County voters got to decide on a casino project was in 2004. That’s when a joint casino boat project with Madison and Dallas counties was rejected.

The state Gaming and Racing Commission would have to approve a new gaming license before the casino plan could move forward.
