The men’s basketball game between Iowa and Nebraska scheduled for Thursday has been postponed due to the impending snow storm.

The universities announced Tuesday that the game will be played on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Officials say they decided to announce the postponement in advance for the safety of athletes, and fans.

Fans that already had tickets purchased for Thursday’s game can use those tickets on Saturday.

The game was originally scheduled to be on ESPN2, but television information for Saturday has not been announced yet.

The last time an Iowa mens game was postponed due to weather was in 2007. Iowa went on to defeat Northwestern 66-58 the next day.
