Gov. Terry Branstad has another trip planned this week after he returns from an economic development trip to California.
Branstad is heading to the East Coast Friday. He’ll be in Washington, D.C. for the Republican Governors Association and National Governors Association meetings.
While there, he’ll also meet with U.S. Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius to discuss changes to Iowa policies required by the Affordable Care Act. Much of that legislation takes effect next year.
The governor says he and Secretary Sebelius will discuss several different options for Iowa.
