The show had no choice but to go on at Hilton Coliseum Thursday. Country star Miranda Lambert arrived Wednesday night and she was going on stage regardless of the weather.
Many fans were up to the task. They crowded outside the Coliseum doors an hour before the show started.
Most shivered their way up the walk, but said they never considered staying home.
As one fan explained, “This is Miranda and we were going to go to the concert no matter what.”
“Tickets were bought in November when there was no snow,” another fan added.
The DOT sent out a warning to concert-goers this afternoon telling them to expect road conditions to be much worse when they left the show than when they arrived.
