Pella police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Thursday morning.
Police say they were called to the Midwest One Bank at 500 Oskaloosa Street about 10:07 a.m. on a report of a robbery. Witnesses say two armed men entered the bank and robbed a teller. They left the bank with an unknown amount of cash, heading northwest on foot.
The suspects were described as white males, under six-foot, and possibly in their 20s. They were wearing hoodies and face masks at the time of the robbery.
Police Chief Robert Bokinski told radio station KNIA that the suspects were caught at a Pella hotel this afternoon.
They are identified as Jack Konz and Christian Latshaw both from Des Moines.
