HY-VEE ASSAULT: Shopper Arrested

A Des Moines woman is in custody accused of trashing a Hy-Vee grocery store.

Police arrested 35-year old Elizabeth Grubb shortly after midnight at the Hy-Vee on Fleur Drive Saturday morning..

She’s accused of knocking merchandise off store shelves and then spitting in the face of an employee who tried to stop her.

Grubb is charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Later in the day, Dahl’s was subject to a robbery.
