A Des Moines man claims police are harassing him.
David Flores is awaiting a re-trial for the first degree murder of Phyllis Davis. He was convicted in 1997, but that conviction was thrown out in 2009.
Flores’ attorneys told the Des Moines Register their client has been pulled over 14 times since he was released from prison last March.
They are asking a judge to stop the Des Moines Police from targeting their client.
Des Moines Police told the Register there is no organized effort to harass Flores.
