A central Iowa business will be featured on a new show about unique foods on the Travel Channel.

The show is called Bizarre Foods and La Quercia in Norwalk will be put in the spotlight.

Some say it’s a slice of Italy right here in central Iowa.

“We make a full range of things from pigs, including hams aged for three years, cured back fat, little salami, pancheta, copa, bacon, all kinds of things.”

You can purchase La Quercia’s goods at the Cheese Shop of Des Moines, Gateway Market and Whole Foods in West Des Moines.

The show airs Monday at 8 p.m.
