CIVIL PENALTIES: DOT Offers New Payment Option

The Iowa Department of Transportation is making it easier for drivers to pay civil penalties.

In Iowa, when a driver’s license is revoked or suspended, a civil penalty must be paid before the driver can get their driving privileges reinstated.

The DOT is launching an online portal for drivers to view and pay their fees without making a trip to the DMV.
