FATAL ACCIDENT: Family Killed In Crash

A Northwest Iowa college student lost her entire family in a car crash on Saturday.

The crash happened just west of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The state patrol says the SUV went into the median, hit a guardrail and slid down an embankment.

The victims are 52-year-old James Vollmer, 48-year-old Julie Vollmer, 16-year-old Allysa Vollmer and 13-year-old Valeb Vollmer all of Sioux Falls.

Authorities say all four were wearing their seat belts.

The third child, Brittany was in Orange City at the time of the crash.
