The superintendent for the AGWSR School District is on paid administrative leave amid a criminal investigation by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

Bob Weber was placed on leave Tuesday.

The district says it will fully cooperate with the investigation and is searching for an interim superintendent, but would not discuss the nature of the investigation. The district also says the move is not a disciplinary action but is a standard practice if an employee is involved in a law enforcement investigation.

The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office confirms it executed two search warrants as part of the investigation, one at the superintendent’s office located in the elementary school, and the other at a residence in Franklin County.
