The FBI is investigating a bank robbery in the eastern Iowa town of Oxford Junction.

The Citizens State Bank at 101 W. Broadway was robbed about 8:55 a.m. Wednesday. The FBI says a man entered the bank with a gun in his hand, announced the robbery and mad tellers give him an undisclosed amount of money.

The man left the bank and drove away a blue and silver full sized pickup truck. The truck was last seen heading north out of Oxford Junction on Highway 136.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10” to 6’ tall, heavy build, and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray or blue hooded sweatshirt, ski cap, black gloves, and carrying a black semi-automatic pistol. Investigators say the suspect also had a bushy black beard that may have been fake.
