IOWA BASKETBALL: Hawks Lose To Indiana

Any bubble talk involving the Hawkeyes ended after Iowa lost to Nebraska but a win over top ranked Indiana and you can re-inflate that bubble.

Hoosiers won the first meeting by 4 in Iowa City.

In the 1st half, the big man Adam Woodbury gets the Hawks in to an early 2-0 lead.  It wouldn’t last.

Hawks committed 14 first half turnovers, Fran was not pleased.  He lets the refs hear it, teed up and trying to light a fire in his guys.

The Hoosiers up 26-14 at the half which is the lowest output in a half for both teams this year.

In the 2nd half Iowa hangs around with Devyn Marble leading the way with 20 but Indiana is just better.

Hoosiers win 73-60.  Hawks fall to 7-9 in the Big 10.  Next up is Illinois on Tuesday.
