TRUCK ACCIDENT: Damaged Bridge Could Need Emergency Repair

A bridge over Interstate-80 could be in need of emergency repairs following an accident Monday.

The state patrol says a dump truck driver forgot to lower the box on the back of his truck before driving under the bridge in the town of Casey in Adair County.

The box caught on a support beam under the bridge, damaging it and ripping the box off the truck.

The truck driver was given a citation.
