ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING: Deputy Recovering

A Polk County Reserve Deputy is recovering after an accidental shooting.

The sheriff’s office says the deputy accidentally fired her gun inside patrol headquarters Monday night injuring her hand.

Officials say the injury is minor. The deputy was treated at an area hospital and released.
