MENS BASKETBALL: Iowa Vs Illinois

The Hawkeyes took on Illinois Tuesday knowing their NCAA tournament odds are long.

Iowa brought their best defense in ages against the team that’s beaten the #1 and #2 teams in the nation.

The Hawks led by three at the half and the fans were energized.

They kept it up in the second half and held on for the win, 63-55.
