ANGELS PARK: Fundraising Concert Announced

The details of a fundraising concert to raise money to build Angels Park in Evansdale are set.

The park is being built at Meyers Lake as a tribute to Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook. The cousins were last seen riding their bikes near the lake last July. Hunters found their bodies in December, but no arrests have been made in the case.

The bands Saving Abel, Lotus, and Never the Less are among those who have committed to performing at the concert on Saturday, April 20 at McElroy Auditorium. Advanced tickets are $20 and $25 at the door.

All the money raised will fund renovations to Meyers Lake including a new gazebo for the island, a rose garden, pedestrian path and picnic area.
