DEAD BILL: Traffic Cameras Here To Stay

A bill to limit traffic enforcement cameras has been shot down.

Under the proposal, cities would have to get a permit from the DOT before installing cameras. They also would have to submit traffic data to prove the cameras are needed.

The bill did not get out of a house committee Wednesday.
