MENS BASKETBALL: Drake Plays-In To MVC Tourney

For the fifth time in the Mark Phelps era, the Drake Bulldogs found themselves having to play their way into the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.

The Bulldogs met Bradley in the play-in game in St. Louis Thursday.

Drake got off to a great start leading by 9 points at the half.

Bradley battled back in the second, but the Bulldogs kept up to win the game 81-66.

Bulldogs face Creighton Friday.
