During the state tournaments the Iowa Hall of Pride in downtown Des Moines is a popular destination for out-of-town guests.

This week teams can see the trophies which will be awarded at the Boys State Basketball Tournament.  Director Jack Lashier says this is a special week as fans and teams look for ways to spend their time between games.

The Super-Shot contest has been popular with kids under 8 to senior citizens over 50. They’ve been competing in the challenge to try to win a Kindle Fire.

Lashier says the Hall of Pride works hard to keep adding new exhibits or videos to give return visitors always something new to see.
