SUPER SEARCH: Newton Begins Search For New Superintendent

The Newton Community School District has just begun its search for a new leader.

Long-time Superintendent Steve McDermott recently announced he will move to the same position in the Creston School District.

On Monday, the Newton School Board will meet to select a search firm to help them sort out worthy candidates. They are also taking input from community members on what characteristics they would like to see in their next superintendent.  You can take the survey here.
