It’s really no secret that Iowa State is a different team away from the Hilton but a win at West Virginia and the Cyclones will be dancing.
This is the first trip to Morgantown for the Cyclones but you couldn’t tell by the way the way they were shooting.
Cyclones drilled 8 first half three’s with Chris Babb chipping in.
Then its Tyrus time, McGee with the deep 3. Iowa State took a 24 point lead into the locker room.
Georges Niang quiet in the first half, not so much in the second.
But this wouldn’t be an Iowa State game without some drama. Cyclones had 19 turnovers.
Mountaineers tried to make this a one possession game but Chris Babb comes out of nowhere to get a finger on Eron Harris’s shot.
