PRICE TREND: Gas Going Down

After nine weeks of rising prices, gas prices are finally starting to fall.

A national survey of gas prices shows a gallon of regular gas has dropped nearly six cents over the past two weeks.

According to GasBuddy.com, the national average for a gallon of gas is $3.66.  But filling up in Iowa will cost you a bit more.  The state average is $3.67.

In the metro the average is $3.73.

Analysts say with lower oil prices, gas prices should continue to fall.
