NEW CASINO: County Gets Signatures

Warren County leaders gathered enough public support to get a casino referendum on the ballot in May.

Wednesday a group of casino backers submitted the signatures needed to force a referendum vote on the proposal to the Warren County Auditor.

Gathering the signatures was one of the first steps to building a casino, 150-room hotel and events center in Norwalk that supporters believe will bring more than 600 jobs to the area as well as boost the economy.

The referendum is expected to appear on the May 7^th ballot.
