Weather may have thrown a wrench in the boys and girls state bowling tournament, but a one month delay doesn’t seem to be slowing down the top teams.
Class 2A took over Plaza Lanes in Des Moines Tuesday and put on a good show. The shoulder to shoulder crowd was not disappointed.
Leaders from the girls were Waterloo West and Ottumwa. For the boys Davenport North and Ottumwa lead.
As for metro teams Des Moines Lincoln held 5th and 6th for the girls and boys respectively.
Johnston, Ankeny, and Marshalltown boy’s teams rounded out the top 10.
