The Iowa State Cyclones are trying to improve their chances of getting into the NCAA tournament with a win against the Kansas Jayhawks. A win wouldn't just help guarantee the Cyclones a trip to the big dance, it would also help their seed in the tournament bracket.

But perhaps more importantly to fans, a win would give them something they almost had twice this season.

Channel 13's Michael Admire caught up with Cyclones fans in Kansas City getting ready for the third match-up this season.

Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m. Friday.  The game will be televised on ESPNU.

The winner will move on to the Big 12 championship game Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPN.
