MORNING FIRE: Creston Clothing Store Damaged

Crews in Creston are investigating a Friday morning fire at a department store.

Four fire departments responded to a fire at the Maurice’s clothing store at Laurel Street after 9:00 a.m. It started in the back of the store and was under control pretty quickly.

No one was seriously injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
