SCOUT COOKIES: Woman Charged With Theft
An Urbandale woman has been arrested and charged for cookie theft.
59 year-old Denise Gordon-Kamm allegedly stole $3,000 worth of Girl Scout cookies from The Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa office on March 6th.
She purchased several cases of cookies with a check with no funds. The Girls Scouts office tried to recover the goods and called the police for help. The cases were discovered in Gordon-Kamm’s car.
She was arrested Tuesday and charged with first degree theft.
