FATAL ACCIDENT: Pedestrian Killed

Dubuque police plan to release more information Monday about a fatal pedestrian accident.

The accident happened around 5:30 Saturday night on Dubuque’s north side.

Police say the driver struck the woman pinning her under the car. Rescuers freed the woman but she died at the hospital.

Authorities haven’t released the names of the victim or the person they believe hit her.
