EDUCATION GRANT: Iowa Schools Recieve Federal Money

Iowa will soon get millions of dollars in grant money to help struggling schools.

The U.S. Department of Education announced Monday Iowa will get $3 million in school improvement grants. The money will go to the state’s lowest-performing schools who have shown a commitment to using the money to provide adequate resources and raise student achievement.

Iowa is one of just ten states to receive the grant money.
