The senate democratic caucus is back to full strength at the statehouse.

Senator Tom Courtney of Burlington returned to work this week. The 65-year-old underwent heart bypass surgery 18-days ago.

Without Courtney the past few weeks, there were only 25 senate democrats on the job, not enough to make a majority vote.

Now, the democrats now have their full 26 to 24 advantage in the senate.
