NCAA TOURNEY: Hawkeyes Play At Home

The Hawkeye women have a chance to play two post-season games in front of a home crowd because Iowa City is a NCAA Tournament host site.

The ladies learned their fate Monday night; they earned the 9-seed and will take on 8-seed Miami, Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

The Hawkeyes finished with a 20-12 record and an 8th place finish in the Big 10. This is Lisa Bluder’s 10^th tourney berth in 13 seasons.

The winner of this game will likely face the 1-seed Notre Dame.
