ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING: Store Clerk Shoots Himself

A convenience store clerk could face criminal charges after accidentally shooting himself.

Cedar Falls police say 22-year old Jeffrey Fox was pulling a gun from his pants Monday night when he shot himself in the hand.

It happened while Fox was on the clock at a local convenience store. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No customers were in the store at the time of the shooting.

Police are investigating the accident.
