The trial of a man accused of killing his mother and kidnapping another woman has been moved.
Twenty-one-year-old Kirk Levin is accused of choking and fatally stabbing his mother, 45-year-old Marilyn Schmitt, at her home in Early, IA in January.
Authorities found Schmitt’s body while investigating the reported kidnapping of a 21-year-old woman, who escaped from Levin.
Levin’s trial was set to begin on April 10, but it has been moved to June.
Levin has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
