FIRST ROUND: Iowa Beats Indiana State

The Hawkeyes thought they had an NCAA tourney caliber team, but for the second straight season, Iowa settled for NIT.

This time, the Hawks say they’re in it, to win it.

Indiana State’s Greg Lansing spent seven seasons at Iowa, now he’s head coach of the Sycamores.

Second half, the Hawks come out fired up.

Iowa knocks out Indiana State, 68-52.

The Hawkeyes will hosts Stony Brook Friday night at 8:30.
