More charges have been filed in a case involving the recording of a sexual encounter with a minor in Knoxville.

Nineteen-year-old Jake Smith was arrested last week and charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and third degree sexual abuse. Knoxville police say the charges stem from an incident where Smith allegedly received oral sex from a 15-year-old girl and a friend recorded it without the minor’s knowledge.

Now, two more people have been charged in the case.

Police say 19-year-old Jordan Cowman of Des Moines made the recording and he’s been charged with sexual exploitation of a minor, which is a Class C felony.

The video was emailed to others and police say a 17-year-old Knoxville girl was one of those who received it. She is charged in juvenile court with an aggravated misdemeanor of sexual exploitation of a minor because she showed the video to someone else.

Police say their investigation in the case continues.
