The Planting Intentions Report is making big waves; the latest Farm Futures survey shows U.S. farmers plan to increase production of corn and soybeans this year.

The survey found farmers are ready to plant 97.43 million acres of corn. That total, if achieved, would be the most acreage of corn since 1936. Additionally, farmers want to plant 79.09 million acres of soybeans. That would also mark an all-time record for soybeans if achieved. More than 1,750 growers were surveyed.
