A nine year veteran chorus instructor at Collins-Maxwell Schools has resigned amid allegations she inappropriately touched high school students.  The district began it's investigation after several students complained about the way teacher Suzanne Hunter touched them.  The district determined Hunter was touching the students during breathing exercises, but there was nothing sexual about the contact, so police were not notified.

"Our investigation showed that those breathing techniques were maybe considered inappropriate, but there was no sexual concern there whatsoever." says Superintendent Jason Ellingson,  "Those allegations never rose to the level of needing to address authorities."

Ellingson tells us, in the nine years Hunter has been teaching at Collins-Maxwell, there have been no complaints about the way she touches students during instruction.
