A Des Moines man is in the Polk County Jail on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon for an alleged drive-by shooting in March.
Police say 18-year-old Nikko Gatewood was shooting at someone standing outside the home at 1703 10th Street in Des Moines on March 22nd, when bullets struck the house. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police identified Gatewood as a suspect in the case using surveillance video from the Fifth Judicial District Offices at 1000 Washington.
Gatewood is also facing a domestic assault charge from an unrelated incident in February.
Police are investigating whether Gatewood is involved in other recent shootings in the area.
