Bauder's Pharmacy (WHO-HD)

The owner of a Des Moines pharmacy has lost his state license permanently after failing to account for 700,000 missing pain pills.

The Iowa Board of Pharmacy has revoked the license of Bauder’s Pharmacy owner Mark Graziano.

Authorities say Graziano can’t account for 700,000 doses of painkillers that were delivered to the pharmacy over the last four years.

Graziano claims they were stolen by an employee.

He told the Des Moines Register he will be appealing the pharmacy board’s ruling.

Bauder’s will remain open, but the pharmacy is not allowed to prescribe narcotics.
