60s to 40s…one day. Severe Weather and Winter Storm Warnings.

A massive storm system is moving over the state tonight. We are going to see the chance for severe weather and heavy rainfall.
This is a wild day to follow in the weather center. We hit 68 degrees for the high temperature at 1PM. By 2:30 it was 52.
Hail covered the ground in many areas of northern Iowa during the severe storms this morning and again this afternoon.
It is not uncommon with cooler temperatures,
This will be a cool and rainy next 24 hours. We will also have the chance for rain mixing with snow by late tomorrow night and early Thursday.
There is a Flash Flood Watch in eastern Iowa…a Winter Storm Warning for northern Iowa. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch in southwest Iowa.
It’s Spring! Crazy day.
