EPA Office of Administration and Resources Assistant Administrator, Craig Hooks, announced last week that full-time EPA employees will be furloughed for 32 hours during phase one of the agency’s furlough process.

Furlough hours for part-time employees will be proportional to their work schedules. The first phase of the furlough process at EPA will occur between April 21st and June 15th. May 24th is an agency-wide furlough day.

According to an email Hooks sent to all EPA employees, the agency is doing everything possible to minimize the impact of the administrative furlough and to keep the employees informed.
