Polk County prosecutors are asking that two 15-year olds charged with beating a man and stealing his car be tried as adults.

Thirty-six-year old Mike Wasike was pulled from his car and beaten on February 26th, then left lying in the street. Wasike has been hospitalized ever since with a brain injury.

Last week police arrested 16-year old Kenneth Barry, 15-year old Terrance Cheeks, and 15-year old Leshaun Murray for the crime.

Barry is already charged as an adult, but a judge will decide next week if the charges against the other two will be moved to adult court.
