IOWA UPDATE: Drought Conditions Improving

The recent rain is greatly improving the drought conditions across the state.

The latest report by the National Weather Service and the USDA has been released.

Now, the far northwest part of the state is out of the highest category of drought.

The amount of the state in no drought has also increase by 10-percent this week, up to 16-percent total. That area is located in the eastern side of the state.
