After another chilly day Friday, the weekend forecast is looking to get a bit more mild. Highs will climb into the 50s on Saturday and well into the 60s on Sunday. In Southern Iowa on Sunday, a few 60s will even be possible.

Saturday will be dry with the sun finally breaking out again, but Sunday will lead to another chance at some rain or storms. A cold front will try to work into the state and eventually park itself in NW Iowa, which means at least scattered showers will stay in the forecast through the middle part of next week.
