HOME WIN: I-Cubs’ Losing Streak End

First, the bad news. The I-Cubs have one win in their first 9 games.

Now, the good news. They’ve got over 130 games left to make a run.  Plenty of time.

Saturday they took on Albuquerque in front of a sparse crowd at Principal Park.

Chicago Cub 2nd baseman Darwin Barney was in Des Moines on a rehab stint.

After going down in the second to the Isotopes, the Cubs rally and  finally beat Albuquerque, 6-1.
